Are you having problems with your PlayStation 3 and seeking some good PlayStation 3 troubleshooting information ?
If you’ve been encountering problems lately with your Playstation 3 then I’m pretty sure that you’ll be feeling seriously teed off and annoyed at this moment. I know I was, especially as Sony don’t seem to give much PS3 help.
Spending a lot of your hard earned cash on buying a PlayStation , which isn’t exactly low priced to start with, and then for your PS3 to “check out” on you when it’s still looking immaculate and like it’s recently come out of the box, irrespective that it is not in warranty, ain’t a great feeling.
It is irritating to read that Sony claims that they’re only getting a low 1% failure rate on their consoles.
When I had problems with my PlayStation 3 and searching for debugging information , what I found was that there were a lot of people just like me coming up against PS3 issues . Just check out the number of Google web inquiries being made for PS3 faults or people looking for assistance on how to restore this or that problem . Stop by any half decent Playstation forum or chat room and it’s the same story . The truth is that Sony’s purported failure rate is a complete phony to say the least.
It was with delight that I watched a BBC watchdog documentary that disclosed the reality on the subject of Sony’s failure rate, it’s justifiable shame for what looks to be a “too-big-to-care” attitude .
But those egg heads at Sony continue to be in a state of denial – it’s either that or they just don’t want to confess to the truth that they’ve a much bigger problem on their hands .
The situation with PS3 gamers complaining about the trouble they have with their consoles has gotten so abysmal that one of the most frequent failings has become customarily labelled in the PlayStation 3 world as the “Yellow Light of Death” or YLOD.
This is really humiliating for Sony and yet they don’t seem that troubled.
If you are still within warranty my suggestion is return your PS3 to Sony so they can resolve the problem.
When searching for help on the Net, be careful not to simply follow some of the online tips and to start rooting around within the console , you will merely end up nullifying your warranty. And what’s worse, perhaps you’ll be left with an even bigger , mind-blowing bill in order to sort out some added new problems.
The only catch to sending your console to Sony is that you may need to wait as long as 6 weeks for Sony to return your PS3, which sucks .
However, there’s a few covert tricks I found out from a guy by the name of Rob Sheffield, an experienced PS3 repairman located out in Melbourne, which solved my PS3 problem without forking out a single penny and what’s more it will not negate your warranty, if you have one .
If you are reading this and you are unfortunate enough to be coming up against problems with your PS3 Console and your warranty has ended , then be prepared to be kicked again by those eggheads at Sony because they ask you to hand over a tidy $200.00 to have your console repaired and that’s without replacement parts. Incredible! Some companies must imagine that money grows in our back garden or something. It is bonkers!.
You might as well buy a new one at that price! And perhaps we should go out and grab an Xbox to show those fools at Sony that they need to do more .
