How long let your kids video games a day?
I wonder how long other parents let their children play video games daily. If I go to mines which are Play every chance they get. I've always been against video games and finally allowed me to get one. I limited to 45-60min a day, provided that the tasks performed. But when it comes to weekends and school breaks and how long is appropriate? What is the rule on this matter at your house?
My kids are entitled to 45 minutes a day of school after the tasks performed. On weekends, I leave 45 minutes with three towers, one morning in the afternoon and evening. While they are down and doing some other things between the two does not bother me. I keep going from one screen to another. Since they can not play video games for 45 minutes and then watch TV for an hour. So instead of saying 45 min. video games, say 45 minutes the screen and must be chosen to do. In summer they play a lot less because they are out of play and go places that many, but try to understand it is difficult in winter, not so much to do and that is not so cold. My boys 14, 14, 11 and 8. My 8 year old does not play, so do not have to put strict limits on it. Usually plays with his toys and go for a walk here and there but never stay long term.
