Sony are already building up a large range of downloadable PSP Go games available to their new system. Since the PSP Go no longer employs a UMD drive, all games are downloaded via the Playstation Store. The benefit is that PSP Go now gains access to a varied base of games from many different Sony systems.
Many PS One retros are available as downloadable PSP Go games. These offerings are sure to evoke nostalgia to veteranplayers as they return to the classics of yesteryear! These games are also great by current standards, and lots of new fans will still enjoy such awesome titles as Crash Bandicoot, Ehrgeiz and the Soul Reaver titles.
Such is the strength and potential of the PSP Go that it can house a range of Playstation 3 games. These arenot full-blown Playstation 3 titles, but instead slimmer, more compact offerings. They do boast fantastic graphics and playability though, and are therefore ideal downloadable PSP Go games. A few examples are Final Fight, Joust and LocoRoco.
The PSP Go is also capable of playing PC ported games, increasing the choices even farther. The list of these titles is presently short, but Sony guarantee that the range will be expanded to include even more downloadable PSP Go games.
